Slippers and the Perfect Sweater

It's the time of year that I am craving cozy items to snuggle up with. Cozy, but cute. Do you shop at Ann Taylor Loft? I never used to before I lived close to one. Now I would say it's a go-to store of mine for loungewear, dress pants, and just casual, anytime clothing. Every now and again they run a 50% off sale on their website, which to me is a good deal. I don't really make a big fuss over a 10% coupon, or even 20%. But 30-50% off is worth taking a look at. When shopping online - read the reviews first! Yay for Friday: Paint n Sip

Paint n Sips are all the rage lately! Have you been to one yet? This was my second time doing a Paint n Sip among friends and it's really so much fun. The concept is that a group of amateur painters follow an instructor through the steps of painting an art piece, while sipping on wine/beer. It's social, and super fun to see how the person next to you paints the same picture as you are, yet it comes out totally different. Everyone is set up with a blank canvas, three paint brushes of different sizes, and a paper plate with 5-7 acrylic paint colors. Usually the first part consists of covering the canvas with blanket colors. Below is light blue for the sky and a darker blue for the ocean. This piece of art is a snapshot of a fishing boat house in Rockport, ME. So the dimensions of the house are all done freehand and completely vary from person to person. H&M Lip Colors

H&M sells lipgloss and lipstick pencils! And they are super pretty! These are bubblegum pink in color, and very pigmented. The lipgloss bumps up the color and adds that great lip shine on top. I wore it out on Saturday night - even though it might not have been the best match with my neutral outfit - I was just overly excited to wear this lip color and had to put it on! I couldn't find the lip gloss on the H&M website, so you might have to just look in store for that.
