I recently discovered the nude-colored eyeliner and was wondering how it works. After some experimenting and googling, it seems that the goal is to brighten the eyes. So I tried it this morning and this is what I came up with. If you apply a thick line to your waterline under your eyes (the area between your eyeball and lash line) it tends to brighten the undereye and pop your eye make up. See the step by step below, and please excuse my morning look before full make up :)
I'm a big fan of NARS blushes and eye make up, so I wanted to try with a good quality brand. I got this one from Lord and Taylor for $24 (NARS nude eyeliner) and I love the color it provides and the way it glides on.
Apply a thick line to your water line, which is the area under your eyeball and above the lash line.
As you can see, it's almost like a highlighter for the undereye.
This is how it looks once I have applied my eyeliner and slight mascara for a natural look.
